Here is a little history about Mike Blackmer Electric, Inc:
Many of the current employees were staff members of Buildings Plus of Hart. Mike Blackmer (Owner), worked with his Dad (Bob) not only in the lumberyard, but in the field helping construct buildings for Buildings Plus.
Mike started his own electrical contracting company in 1999. Even though he loved working in the electrical field, he still felt the passion to return to his youth, by launching the pole building division in 2003.
Mike Blackmer Electric Inc. is a licensed electrical contractor in the state of Michigan, and is a member of the National Electrical Contractor Association (NECA).
Expanding his businesses, Mike Blackmer opened Up North Farm Market in Fall of 2016 and Up North Garden Center in Spring of 2017. Currently Up North Storage Facilities is in the construction phase and expected to open in Spring of 2021.
